Here’s a cool interior railing made from copper pipe that could be adapted for use as a deck railing. The neat thing about being outside is that the copper will slowly change colors from the bright and shiny to a green, grey color. This would look great paired with some branch railings and is a good metal railing idea. I think that the pipe in the picture is 3/4″ diameter copper pipe.
